The Webwise site includes – an in depth course on various aspects of using the internet with tutorials, self-assessment quizzes and fun sessions for reinforcing learning; a question-based information search facility called ‘Ask Bruce’; a ‘tutor’ with interactive exercises based on keyboard, mouse and screen navigation skills; a video guide to broadband including Wi-Fi; celebrity interviews with questions about how they use the internet and useful updates on relevant aspects of the internet by Bill Thompson.

Pros: Useful information for those beginning to use the internet and the new technologies associated with it.
Cons: User has to have quite good navigation skills.
Our View: A good resource for information about the internet and its facilities presented in an informative and entertaining way.
