The Community Centre provides a wealth of services and facilities to the local community including:

  • Café
  • Conference facilities
  • ICT suite
  • WiFi Internet facilities
  • Hosted Nurse Practitioners Surgery
  • Heritage Centre
  • Various Training Programmes
  • Community Activities

Staff at the Brynaman Community Centre use ICT extensively in their day to day work and were somewhat victims of their own success having rapidly expanded their infrastructure but without adequate ICT support.

During the course of the last year, Brynaman Community Centre has engaged in substantial ICT development work and have significantly progressed their policies and procedures with the help of the local Circuit Rider.  A large number of technical issues such as networking, security and printing have been resolved.

Brynaman Community Centre are also engaged in developing a new website as part of their rebranding exercise to change their name to The Black Mountain Centre. The website will be launched to coincide with the re-launch of the centre.
