Google’s free web-based shareable calendar service is very easy to get started, and gives you the option to include public calendars created by other google users such as school holidays, lunar cycles and more.

Address: http://www.calendar.google.com/
Ease of  use: 4/5
Overall rating: 4/5
Short Review:  You can create personal, work and any  other kind of calendar, and share specific calendars with the public, or other users, or keep them private.

If you already have a Google account you can associate link your calendar with it, and if you use the iGoogle personalised homepage you can see your calendar as soon as you open your web browser.

Accessible via your mobile phone, and you can transfer between Outlook but synching is not yet a simple process.

Pros:
• Access from any web browser.
• Email or mobile reminders.
• Create event invitations and send to friends.
• Fast loading
• Good control over what you share with whom.
• Ability to easily display your calendar on your website

Cons:
• No real control over look and feel.
• Synching with Outlook still not easy.

Our view: One of the most intuitive and functional web based calendars out there.
