| FOSS | Free and Open Source Software Software that has been written by developers willing to share the code for others to use and adapt. Although the code is free to change the software itself sometimes has an attached cost. |
| NGO | Non Government Organis Non Government or Not for Profit Organisations that work to provide services in the voluntary sector. |

| Spam | Spam or Spamming is the abuse of electronic messaging systems to indiscriminately send unsolicited bulk messages. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media: instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engine spam, spam in blogs, wiki spam,Online classified ads spam, mobile phone messaging spam, Internet forum spam, junk fax transmissions, and file sharing network spam. |
